Brainstorm Blog #4

For my fourth project, I chose to do something related to the battle royale video game fortnite. I think that this topic is great because there is so many different ways that I could take it and so many choices that can be made. For example, some of the choices that I am going to include are a choice of weapon between a shotgun and an assault rifle, and that choice of weapon will ultimately matter in the future choices when making decisions. Another choice that could be made are choosing to loot for longer to gain better loot but you also have a chance of getting lost in the storm. In the start of the adventure, I plan on having a map of places and each different place has a different ending. Some of the places that you will choose end the adventure right away and force you to start over while some of the places will have developed story lines and alternative endings. I plan to make the choices in the story similar to choices within the video game and I plan to keep the choices simple for the sake of time, and also because simplicity can often be better than complexity if it is done properly. I plan to place multiple easter eggs throughout the web adventure in various ways and places to add to the experience. The ultimate goal of my web adventure is to win and to win you have to make the right choices.
