Artist Statement #4

For my final project, I did not change my idea from the original plan because I feel like it was a good idea and a good topic. Not much changed from my initial idea aside from the many different endings that I included. I had a lot of fun making this project especially with all of the easter eggs that I included. I had fun coming up with all of the different endings and creating gifs for them. In total there are ten different endings including one being flushed down a toilet at Flush Factory, being sacrificed by the Tomato Town goons, drowning in Moisty Mire or Loot Lake, becoming a pacifist or a killer, and watching a sunset at Lonely Lodge. Making the gifs for this project were also very fun as well as making the images in photoshop. I understand now why choosing a project topic that is interesting to you or fun to you is important because in this project it was easier to motivate myself to complete it because the idea is something that interests me. Some easter eggs I included that you may have missed are when you click on the word website on the title screen, when you click on the alcohol bottle in the pacifist route, when you click on the eyeballs in the bloodthirsty route, when you click on the llama in the Loot Lake route, when you click on the shack in the Moisty Mire route, and when you click on six out of the seven gifs on the victory screen.
